Hi, we are Brian and Tracy Hauck and our journey together started some 34 years ago, wow thought we would never say that!!! We have been married for 31 years and have one beautiful daughter, Jen, her wonderful husband and our son in law Kolin, and one crazy dog named Kramer.

We have been in the meat industry for 30 years and have owned our own business for 28 years. Starting with a small shop in Bashaw, Alberta, where Brian was born and raised, we created a very successful business with the majority of our income stemming from custom beef processing. With our passion to become more creative in developing quality and healthy homemade products, we set our sites on a more populated area within Alberta and chose to start a new venture in our lives. And here The Butcher Shoppe was born.

We opened our doors in Airdrie in January of 1995, and although our first few years were filled with many long hours and a few learning curves, we have truly never looked back.  Our philosophy of providing our customers with the very best of products that are grown within Alberta and as natural as we can provide, has certainly come to be what our customers want and expect. The fruits of our labor over the past 14 years have become very evident with our homemade product line now boasting over 250 items, and recognized for many prestigious awards. We restructured our company in 2006 and brought our daughter Jen and husband Kolin on board as partners in our organization. We are so excited that another generation will carry on our tradition. With our amazing staff supporting us every step of the way we truly have what a small family run business needs to be successful in this every changing economy.
